The purple “Test Mode” button appears on published Webflow sites when Ecommerce is enabled with test mode still active. This button is only visible to site administrators and indicates that Stripe is connected in test mode.
1. Disable Test Mode in Webflow Ecommerce
- Go to Project Settings in Webflow.
- Navigate to the Ecommerce tab.
- In the Payments section, find the Stripe integration status.
- If it's in Test Mode, click Disconnect Test Mode or switch to Live Mode by connecting your live Stripe account.
- Save your settings.
2. Republish Your Website
- After making the change, republish your site by clicking Publish in the Webflow Designer or Dashboard.
- Make sure to publish to all domains associated with the site.
3. Clear Your Cache or Use Incognito Mode
- The button might still appear due to browser caching.
- Clear your cache or check the site in incognito/private browsing mode.
